The Lanphier Lions showcased their dominance on the court Thursday night in a thrilling faceoff against the Springfield Senators in the 2024 Boys City Tournament. This marked their second encounter with the Senators this season, and it proved to be an exhilarating match that ended in favor of the Lions with a final score of 47-44.

JaiQuan Holman emerged as a key player, contributing significantly to the Lions' triumph by scoring an impressive 17 points, earning him the title of the lead scorer for the team. Holman's exceptional speed allowed him to navigate the court with agility, making impactful plays throughout the game. Playing for an astonishing 23 minutes, he displayed remarkable accuracy, shooting an impressive 88% from the free-throw line. Shaunassey Hatchett, with 29 minutes of court time, played a crucial role in securing the win for the Lions by contributing 13 points.
