The Lanphier Lions emerged triumphant in a thrilling showdown against the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones on Friday night, sealing a hard-fought victory with a final score of 64-61. The dynamic performances from BIG BALLIN MEDIA athletes, Shaunassey Hatchett Jr. and JaiQuan Holman, proved instrumental in this hard-fought win. With a season record now standing at 12-9 and an impressive 6-2 in conference play, the Lions duo not only asserted their dominance but also secured the win with clutch game-winning and game-sealing free throws, marking a significant moment in the 2024 Boys City Tournament.


In the heat of the matchup, Shaunassey Hatchett Jr. displayed an unstoppable presence across the court, asserting his dominance with remarkable versatility. During his 29 minutes of play, Hatchett Jr. showcased his scoring abilities, netting an impressive 19 points on an efficient 8-of-12 shooting from the field. His effectiveness extended beyond scoring, contributing significantly to the rebounding game with 4 defensive rebounds and 2 offensive rebounds, playing a pivotal role in limiting the Cyclones' chances while creating opportunities for his own team.
